Register to participate online at https://loras.libcal.com/event/7090705

This year marks the one hundredth anniversary of the 19th Amendment, which opened up the electoral system to participation by women. As part of Loras College’s commemoration of this milestone, please join us in listening to four women recently elected to their first term in state or local office. They will share why they decided to run for public office, their experiences campaigning, and the rewards and challenges of the job so far.

This online event is free and open to the public. To receive a link and password for the online webinar, please register here: https://loras.libcal.com/event/7090705.

Sponsored by the Loras College Library, the History, Sociology, and Politics Majors, and the Gender Studies Minor.
