Using Encyclopedia's and Dictionaries

Encyclopedia's and dictionaries are a great place to start your research.  They offer a broad coverage of many topics and can help you clarify your topic.  Don't forget to look at the bibliography at the end of encyclopeida articles, the sources listed there can help you find more information on the topic.
