Many academic publishers and vendors are offering expanded access to electronic collections during this time, at little or no cost. We've selected many that we see as a good fit for our curriculum. Here's what has been added so far:

  • Academic Search Complete, a great multi-disciplinary database from EBSCO, has become Academic Search Ultimate, with added full-text available, especially in the sciences.
  • Business Source Premier has become Business Source Ultimate, with added business-related full-text articles.
  • In JSTOR, the content includes additional journals and primary source collections beyond the ones you already subscribe to, and a rapidly growing collection of ebooks. These are accessed from our existing JSTOR link on the Database A-Z page.

Stayed tuned as we add to this list of expanded resources!

thursdays at the libraryGreat news! The Loras College Library just received a grant from Walmart Giving to help fund the beverages and treats for Thursdays at the Library.

From Walmart: Walmart believes that strengthening local communities creates value – for our business as well as society. That’s why we empower each Walmart store, Sam’s Club and distribution center to strengthen and support their local communities through local donations, fundraising and participate in corporate cause-marketing campaigns.
