Who can get a card?

  • Loras College students, faculty and staff
  • Loras College alumni and retirees
  • Members of the clergy of the Archdiocese of Dubuque.
  • Students, staff and faculty at
    • Clarke University
    • Divine Word College
    • Emmaus Bible College
    • University of Dubuque
    • Northeast Iowa Community College
    • Wartburg Seminary
    • Highland College in Freeport, IL
  • Public Library patrons in Iowa

How do I sign up for a card?

  • Loras College Students Faculty and Staff
    • Bring in your Loras ID, you’re already in our system
  • All others:
    • Fill out the Request a Library Account form
    • Present your library card and picture identification the first time you come to the Library.

What services can I access?

  • Loras College students, faculty, and staff
    • Check out any of the materials in our collection
    • Request materials from other libraries and pick them up at Loras College
    • Use Library databases on and off campus
  • All others
    • Check out any of the materials in our collection, EXCEPT reserve items
      • Due to the pandemic, Library access is limited to the Students, Faculty, and Staff of the college. Community patrons may request an item using the Request a Book or DVD Form and selecting the Drive by at Shipping and Receiving option. 
    • Use Library databases ON campus - not available during the pandemic.
