You may have heard of, or even used, our multi-subject database JSTOR. You can use JSTOR to find scholarly articles and primary sources across several disciplines. JSTOR has also been working on several innovative projects. JSTOR Labs includes technology tools for researchers, including a text analyzer, which reads an uploaded document and searches the database using ideas and keywords from that text. JSTOR Labs also includes an Understanding Shakespeare tool, which allows you to select a line from any of Shakespeare’s works and immediately find relevant scholarship written about it. Similarly, you can use the Constitution app to find research related to specific lines in the constitution.

JSTOR Daily is an online publication “where news meets its scholarly match.” Using the scholarly articles and primary sources that can be found in the database, JSTOR Daily provides context to current events through historical background and research. The easy-to-read news format makes scholarly articles more accessible and the articles provide great examples of incorporating research into your writing.
