Presentation Resources

Our first year presentation workshops were ~45 minutes in length, approximately a normal class period, and consisted of ~25 minutes of us speaking, ~10 minutes of group or individual work/reflection, and ~10 minutes of discussion and takeaways. We used the Presentation below as well as the worksheets.

Review and Reflection

After our presentation, we asked the students to take a short survey regarding what we went over, asking their opinions and recommendations for future trainings. This survey helped us be reciprocal in nature, and provide better workshops each time. The survey link as well as a page with the results is below. If you plan to do something similar to our project, we recommend having a survey as it opens communication and can only help improve your content and message of the presentation.
