If you have a Current Paid Subscription:

Anyone with a paid account using their address who wants to switch over, must first deactivate their subscription, and wait for their subscription to expire.  That will "free up" the email address.

To cancel an existing PAID subscription, contact New York Times Customer Care at: or 800-591-9233.

Once your email address is available, you may follow the steps above, but instead of clicking "Create Account" click the link below ("Already have an account?  Log in here") and login with your email address.

Visit to renew your account.  Log in with the Loras email address and password you used during the initial registration.  Follow the on- screen instructions to complete the process.

You can also check what date your account is set to expire by visiting when logged into your account.  You will find an option to set a reminder to renew on your calendar.
