MyJSTOR

JSTOR encourages users to create a free profile, and save their searches and article citations. (Article citations are links to the full-text article available through the database.)

At any point during your JSTOR session, select the 'Login' button on the top right of the page.

You will be taken to a new page where you can select 'Register' to create a new account.

Once registered, you can

  • Save a citation - click the box next to the journal article title
  • Save an article - select the hyperlinked article title, and click "save citation" in the upper right corner
  • Save a search - look on the right side of the page for the box titled "Save this Search." Enter a name for your search. This feature is especially useful if you will be returning to this same search again after constructing a complex search, or if you will return later to the search looking for new results
  • Track a journal's table of contents
