Notice that the CREDO Reference and Gale Virtual Reference databases each display information from a variety of sources.  For example, when you enter the search term "Mark Twain" in CREDO, articles from several different sources appear, such as the Dictionary of Modern American Philosophers and The Reader's Companion to American History

Citations for an article from these databases should include both the name of the database used to access the article and the title of the source in which the article appears.
