Media Creation Suite

This Media Editing Computer is located in the computer pod on 2nd floor. On this workstation, anyone can use VideoStudio Ultimate from Corel to combine audio, video, and other media into a polished product. Need to edit your audio and the Podcast Room is booked? Audacity will also be available on this computer. Funds from the State Library of Iowa helped fund the equipment the Media Editing workstation. 

Bring your own headphones to the Media Editing computer!

1. Make sure the computer is on – there should be a blinking light on the computer.
2. Login using your Loras username and password. If you do not have a Loras username and password use: libguest/dewey1839.
3. Click on the Corel VideoStudio 2021 icon.
4. For tutorials on how to use the software, click on Getting Started with Video Editing.
5. To get started right away, click on Capture.
6. Click on Import from disk or external drive and follow the prompts to upload your video.
7. Once the video has been uploaded, click on the Edit tab.
8. The icons in the yellow box open up additional functionality including sounds, transitions, and titles.
9. When you are done, click on the Share tab to export your video. (Uncheck Same as Project Settings to change the format.)
