Meeting Rooms

balconyThe Library has many spaces that can be used for meetings, presentations, and displays when the Library is open.

  • Room 323 is a small seminar-style room that is available to be scheduled for meetings with 10 or fewer participants.
  • Groups can also use the 4th floor balcony for presentations to audiences under 30 attendees or set up displays.
  • The Klauer Commons on the 2nd floor can host groups of up to 50 but is best used for displays.
  • Classrooms on the 1st and 4th floors can be booked for meetings and presentations when classes aren't being held in them.

Some spaces may have restricted access when classes are in session. Requests for use must go through the Campus request system. 

Classrooms

The library building contains two classrooms for faculty use and one classroom dedicated to library instruction. When not in use, students are encouraged to use the classrooms to practice presentations and to work on group projects. All three classrooms are outfitted with:

  • seating for 30,
  • semi-modular furniture,
  • 3 large whiteboards,
  • an overhead projector,
  • a sound system,
  • a retractable projector screen,
  • and a podium with a USB-C connector.
