The Library has many spaces that can be used for meetings, presentations, and displays. Room 323 is a small seminar style room that is available to be scheduled for meetings with 10 or fewer participants. When classes aren't in session, groups can also use the 4th floor balcony for presentations to audiences under 30 attendees or set up displays. The Library has also hosted events in the Thursdays area on 2nd floor. Finally, two of the classrooms can be booked for meetings and presentations when classes aren't being held in them. To request any of these spaces, fill out the Facility Reservation Request Form. Events scheduled in the Library need to be held during the hours that the Library is scheduled to be open.
The library building contains two classrooms for faculty use and one classroom dedicated to library instruction. All three classrooms are outfitted with overhead projectors with connections to individual laptops and a sound system. The classrooms sit 30 students and contain semi-modular furniture that can be configured as desired for the needs of the class. When not in use, students are encouraged to use the classrooms to practice presentations and to work on group projects. All of the classrooms can be reserved using the Facility Reservation Request Form, however, class and Library use will take priority.
